چکیده

Bandung is West Java's largest metropolitan city and Indonesia's third largest. The of very strategic in various aspects, such as accessibility, communication, public facilities, the economy. Increased population indicates more complex ongoing human activities, which can then affect changes land use. covers urban areas tends to change drastically over a short period e than rural because rapid urbanization. Therefore, phenomenon are ideally monitored detected from satellite images with multitemporal resolution. Vegetation greenness built-up identify through remote sensing imagery. Changes vegetation area monitor using analysis studied City represents an growth. This study aims to: 1) Identify between 2014 2021, 2) 3) Analyze relevance City—the correlation NDBI NDVI selected samples representative all data Landsat 8 proportion values 0.9034. So, it concluded that two variables positively correlated. study’s results recommend preserving vegetated cover conserve natural resources prevent increased surface temperature. Keywords: Remote Sensing Imagery, Built-Up Area, Greenness,
